Stara Plynarna Hotel Hrensko

Review by hotel critic

The housekeeping was impeccable, ensuring a clean and comfortable environment. However, the absence of certain amenities such as a shuttle service might be a drawback for some travelers seeking added convenience, especially considering the price point. While the hotel did not offer a shuttle service, the inclusion of a welcome drink was a nice touch. The pet-friendly policy and presence of garden furniture added a charming aspect to the stay, catering to a diverse range of guests. However, the lack of tours/ticket assistance could be seen as a missed opportunity for guests looking to explore the surrounding area.In terms of facilities, the option of a mini-bar and tea/coffee facilities in the room provided a level of comfort. The availability of free Wi-Fi in rooms was convenient for staying connected. Despite the absence of certain features like a dining table or patio, the cozy sitting area and terrace offered pleasant spaces for relaxation. The hotel's pricing seemed to strike a balance between luxury and value. While some may find the rates slightly steep for the offerings, the unique ambiance, complete with elements like garden furniture and a sun terrace, added to the overall experience. For those seeking a mix of historic charm and modern comforts, Stara Plynarna presents a compelling choice. However, guests looking for a more extensive range of amenities may find the value proposition less favorable. Ultimately, the decision to stay at this historic hotel will depend on individual preferences and budget considerations.
